The original website was created using Wix, a popular website building service that allows users to create their own website using templates. While Wix makes it easy to create a website, it also has its limitations. Like many other website builders, Wix relies on templates and assumes that the user has the technical knowledge to implement design choices.

One limitation of the original design was its lack of focus for the user. When a user visits a website, it should be immediately clear what the website is offering and easy for them to navigate to the information they are looking for quickly.

To address this issue, we made changes to the header of the home page to prominently display the main services offered by the Estate Agency. By linking directly to these services, we made it easy for users to find the appropriate page for their needs. Additionally, we focused on the main interest of users, which is typically the properties for sale. This was followed by more general information about the company. By prioritizing these elements, we created a clear and user-friendly design that guides users to the information they are looking for.

The second image illustrates the original design of the website. By comparing it to the new design, it is clear that the user experience has been significantly improved. The new design presents a cleaner and more organized layout, making it easier for users to navigate and find the information they need. The use of whitespace, typography, and visual hierarchy have been carefully considered to guide the user’s attention to the most important elements on the page and creates a more professional and cohesive look.

Furthermore, the new design employs a responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes and devices, making the website more accessible to users on different devices. It also uses optimized images, which makes the website load faster and improves the overall performance.

Overall, the new design is a marked improvement over the original in terms of usability, accessibility and aesthetics. It provides a more enjoyable and efficient experience for users and aligns with the brand’s identity and goals.
